Make Your Small Business Stand Out With Custom Printed Banners

Custom Printed Banners

Custom vinyl banners make great promotional items for trade shows, conferences, fundraisers, sales, meetings, and many other types of special events. Custom big banners stand out because of their vivid colors, eye-catching designs, and eye-catching text. Banners are a great way to promote your business, special events, or just about anything you can think of.

Vinyl banner printing typically uses a fabric material such as vinyl, paper, or polyester. They can be designed with graphics, photos, text, and even a combination of these elements. Printing technology has advanced so that printing banners can be done using electronic printers, inkjet printers, and digital printers. The newest technology uses metal grommets to hold the fabric in place on the pole.

Custom Banner Printing

The standard printing process is to upload the banner design using your computer, and then use a graphics program to create the image. However, there are now two options for printing banners. The first option is to upload the banner using your own graphics program. If you don’t have a graphics program, the second option is to upload a blank template that has pre-designed banner graphics. Either way, the process involves designing and uploading the design tool, then placing the banner on the pole, and then creating the text. You can also use an online design tool to create a custom size and design for your banner templates. You should provide a ready file to make it print ready

Before creating the design, it’s important to select the proper height, length, and width for your banner. When selecting the height, make sure you put the banner at least four inches wider and taller than the item you intend to display. The banner should also be at least four inches shorter than its actual height. This will ensure that visitors can easily see the banner from several feet away. The height and width of the poles should also be proportionate to the items they will support.

Display Banners

When selecting which direction you want to hang your banners, you have two options. The first option is to display them vertically. This works best when displaying outdoor banners during high wind conditions. Banners that are perpendicular to the wind will be damaged by high wind and damage from flying debris. Banners that are horizontally displayed will be exposed to high winds as well as debris, but won’t be damaged as much.

For maximum protection from abrasion and flying debris, UV protected vinyl banners work best outdoors. This type of banner material is also highly resistant to rain, sleet, snow, and ice. They will not fade with exposure to sunlight over an extended period of time. For outdoor conditions, vinyl materials are normally wrapped in an aluminum or steel enclosure. These enclosures are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions without becoming damaged.

Using the Right Banner Types

It is important to keep in mind that the material used to print on banners will have a significant impact on the effectiveness of your advertising campaign. Selecting the right material will help your outdoor advertising campaign become more visible to your target audience. If you cannot afford a one-color vinyl banner, you can elect to have multiple colors made from the same vinyl. Multiple colors will give your ads a more professional look and will help your graphics to stand out against similar products in your marketplace. Whether you opt for one color, multi-color vinyl banners or multi-colored vinyl banners, you are sure to notice a dramatic difference in your advertising results.

Hanging Custom Printed Banners

Custom Printed Banners are banners usually made with a 14 or 18 pound, polyester matte finish fabric, attached to a sturdy frame using metal clamps. They ship between 1 to 5 business days depending on how long the process of approval of design is. They’re typically made with an internal or exterior scrim for increased durability and strength, allowing for both outdoor and indoor use in nearly all conditions which is good for personalized banners. Metal Clamps are heavy-duty metal brackets that provide the framework from which the custom printed banners are suspended. The metal channels are made with aluminum or steel, depending on the application needs of the banner.

Different Banner Types

Depending on the type of banner and vinyl banner design you will be displaying, you can either purchase a fabric pole pocket to wear around your pole or make one yourself. Fabric pole pockets are not recommended using metal as the primary material because it is more susceptible to rusting and will most likely require expensive repairs. Metal pocketing is great if you have a very large or wide banner and you only need a few stands to hold several at a time. They do, however, require much heavier and specialized equipment to install because they are exposed to more wear and tear than fabric pole pockets.

You can choose from a selection of standard, vertical retractable, and full-color double sided vinyl banners with various color, size and price options.

  • Full-Color Double Sided Banners

  • Custom Banner Templates for promoting grand openings, hiring, and business hours.

  • Standard Fabric banners (best used for indoor purposes)

  • Stretch Fabric Displays are very noticeable and will be best for trade show booth campaigns with a custom-printed full-color lightweight ultra-portable backdrop display kit.

If you are going to hang your banner outdoors you will want to use heavy-duty hardware such as aluminum or galvanized hardware. Metal hardware typically weighs more than plastic hardware and is also more likely to rust if left outdoors. Banner stands, such as retractable banners, step & repeat banners, and x-stand banners along with our standard fabric banners can be used outdoors in calm weather conditions for brief periods of time. If you have to display indoors a fabric pole pocket made with polyester would be preferable. Grommets are great for hanging indoor banners to prevent them from unraveling.
